Can confirm.
If you’re not at a position that bills hourly to the client then generally no.
I worked in industry for close to a decade before LEK and I never recorded any time to charge codes
Multiple industry jobs previously. I always had to fill out a timesheet every week, basically what mattered is if I was taking vacation or sick time. Otherwise I just put 8 hours of regular time each workday.
Not at all, you get to work in peace without constantly having to watch your back over chargeable/utilization requirements.
Some do, some don’t. My last job in pharma did but my current does not.
No. Salaried industry don’t have time sheets or anything
Depending on the type of work you do I need to allocate your costs to individual projects internal or external so will require time sheets.
Usually depends on the company; I’ve worked for 3 other industry companies (including 1 startup) and never had to deal with timesheets. I did intern at a few places and dealt with timesheets only at: a local govt entity (didn’t have to deal with it at a nonprofit or at local on campus jobs)

I’ve worked at a client where their FTE have charge codes. Most don’t
Nope! No timesheets, just come in, do your time and leave. :D

That depenss on the company and role. In IT functions there are definitely still charge codes for project related work.
Nope. Not at my level.
