Waiting for HSW decisions — I have a senior partner who’s an alum at one of these schools, and he doesn’t like me and probably has bad things to say about my candidacy. Low chance that he even knows that I interviewed but would anyone send a bad note about an applicant to admissions? And will admissions actually consider that?

I recently gave interview in Hexaware on October 17th. They sent me the CAF form link to fill on the day of interview itself because I cleared all the rounds. I have filled that form and sent my documents for verification but I still haven't received the offer letter. I didn't resign from my current company because I want to resign after getting the offer letter only. Do they send the offer only if we resign and tell them the LWD? And how long does Hexaware takes to release the offer?

I’m thinking about applying at WTW for a Senior Account Manager role in the Chicago office. How do referrals work at WTW? Also, I have 4 years of experience in group captive insurance programs as well as most ancillary lines on the broker side. Does anyone else have group captive experience and could provide some advice on best companies to move to where I can use that expertise? I want to move to a larger company since I’m at a small place with not much room for growth currently.

What are your work hours? A company I am interviewing for expects in-office 8-5 pm all while touting work life balance and a 1-hour lunch break (that’s to be had with the team). Smells like a sneaky 9-hour work day to me. Thoughts?

Just want to throw this out here since the topic of Affirmative Action comes up pretty often. I applied EA to Darden, I’m a legacy, in-state Black, LGBT 325 GRE, 3.2 STEM UG, 3.93 Grad GPA, attended several events, experience in consulting and tech (Product Operations), targeting VC post MBA.

Didn’t get in. It had nothing to do with my race/sexuality. I simply didn’t fare well in the application process. So it’s back to the drawing board. TLDR: stop blaming other candidates for your ding
