I’m sure this clock will do a lot to prevent the insane amount of pollution from Indonesia, China and India.
As 50% of the worlds population produces 30% of the worlds pollution making smart phones for the top 5% of the worlds remaining population, C1 purchases one of those phones to complain about it on FB.
Al gore said the world would end by 2015, then bought a beach house. Climate change is real, but this type of stuff just further proves non-believers right when the world is still standing.
C1 said it best, those third world countries are the problem, and yet the spotlight is on America at all times.
I produce about as much pollution in America going to the grocery store once as 5 poor Indian families with no money does in a week. So I absolutely agree, they are the problem. Their existence causes more emission laws to get passed on my incredibly fast V8 engine.
CC is real, but governments being broke and overextended is the Real Inconvenient truth. 'They' are all trying to prepare us for the upcoming economic reset to bail out the broke governments. Are you ready?

The US still needs to lead the way.
The Inconvenient Truth 2 does a good job of explaining some of the issues of developed world vs developing worlds. India has 300M people without access to energy, so they’ll look to get energy in any form there no matter what the impact is environmentally. Modi could care less about the environment when he’s got all these other issues to deal with in India. Going “clean” will exacerbate other issues. There is a substantial cost to all of this and it’s just not possible for these other countries to quickly adopt renewable energy everywhere. The problem is much bigger than people understand. The US, however, does have the ability to do more. Withdrawing from the Paris Agreement and pulling some of the nonsense this administration has pulled doesn’t help the world.
That being said we need to cut all this doom and gloom stuff and be real. Have people stop going up in arms over plastic straws when they’re still drinking out of a plastic cup. Start slowly restricting more and more. We have monster companies with the means to go green by a certain time and many have made that commitment. Others will follow suit. We will become more experienced at implementing these systems and will eventually figure out cheaper ways to do it in developing countries. But we need to lead the way.
