How is job security at legato ?
Hi Fishers, I want to pivot my career into management consultant. I am currently working as a Market research analyst with 1 YOE. Can someone please suggest me how or where should I start to build my career in management consulting at Big 4.
Also, please suggest entry level jobs that I will be eligible for with skills in Strategy, primary and secondary research, and competitor analysis.
Thanks in advance!

Walmart as a brand will definitely make your resume look good. Not sure about the SAP practice.
What I am trying to say is there are lot of cultural differences and product based companies will offer you great work life balance , freedom to work on what you want to do(if you want to change tech or upgrade). In consulting, you will be always in between the calls plus you have to be available during onshore hours. So, product based companies are always better. I have been to different service/consulting companies including big4s.
Moving from consulting to an inhouse function is a decision which is largely defined by your career aspirations.
In consulting you will be looking at multiple different situations and hence likely better learning. In walmart you will be working on their SAP system and that means you will be an expert in one type of form and instance.
Typically you make a switch from consulting to industry when you feel you are well positioned to move to a job with relatively moderate pace.
So the decision is yours more than anyone else
Walmart
Are they offering same roles and responsibilities? And same work location?
Then walmart will be a great opportunity for you
Walmart
You are comparing two non comparable thing. Deloitte is a service driven organization(so called Consulting). Walmart is a product driven.
