My mom thinks that I’m slowly going insane and wants to me go home and take a year break from work. I hate my job but I still take it way seriously than I should. Like if a client questions my results during a meeting, I get nauseous sometimes throw up after. Depression and anxiety can keep me up for weeks. Has anyone taken a break before? Just scheduled a meeting to go over an offer for a Senior Engineer role. When asked what I would need to make in order to leave my current job, I said at least $160k depending on benefits (I know I shouldn't have given a number).

I make a little over $145k now, plus stock options, a monthly home office stipend (fully remote), and your usual health benefits.

Assuming their benefits are comparable to my current position, have I given up all negotiation power by providing the initial number?

I got a lowball offer from a reputable Fortune 500 for $95k and a 10% sign on bonus for a new role. Benefits are good but I have an opportunity at another company with just as good benefits for $115k plus 5% bonus. What should I do?
