What will be the in-hand salary??? KGS
Hello, I have received an offer from Southwest Airlines as a Associate Technology Analyst with their direct college hire program. Will be graduating in May with a degree in MIS and also have internships experience as a Business Systems analyst intern. The salary compensation started off at 66,500 but was looking for the 75k range and they got back to me saying the best they can do is 68,500. They also have a 401k company match up to 9.3%. Do you think this is a solid offer for this job market?

Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. I have a couple questions for any former/current employees. Is it better to work for T-Mobile, metro by T-Mobile, or a third party T-Mobile? Any difference in benefits or wage? Thanks

I personally found consulting to be great exposure therapy for flying. I used to get so anxious and now I don’t have any problems. It was so bad I definitely considered whether or not it was a good idea to work in consulting, but I honestly would recommend it as a way to get over your fears.

Hard to be a consultant and not travel, unless you do some large scale tech implementation (multi year) and your home city has lots of large companies
In consulting you have talent models where you are not expected to travel much for example Deloitte has USDC model where you are expected to travel at max 15 % as compared to traditional consulting 80 %. Even the traditional travel percentage is being reduced now post covid keeping inline with the New Normal.
