I enjoyed business school. Worked well with my short attention span. Just some high level superficial attention to subjects that I’m interested in (especially second year). I enjoyed the cycles of different classes each day. I went to hbs so was a lot of case study discussion and not quant heavy modeling. So managed it well and had no issues of adhd interference( in fact I was diagnosed only later at bcg)
You can do it, go for it.
Joined an ADHD support group in grad school. Was helpful to go every week. My school ran it out of its wellness center so it was free. Have heard that an ADHD coach can help as well
in the same boat, OP. i was studying for the GMAT for a hot second and then got staffed on another customer and gave it up. now worried i’ll never want/be able to do it again
I'm currently taking Vyvanse now and it works well for me. Just looking for some advice or hacks that helped you through school at that level or any level for that matter. Thanks.
Just finished my MBA at Yale with ADD, inattentive type. Not only can it be done, it was one of the best experiences of my life. I kept myself busy by being really involved... I think my ADD encouraged me to work even harder than my peers because I was so afraid I’d fail. Go for it, and prove yourself wrong. You can do more than get through it - you can rock it!
