Practice makes perfect. To honest, I learned when I was in elementary school typing out my name as fast as I can. Then used that as a baseline to know the keys around my name.

Play multiplayer computer games. It's a competitive advantage to type quickly to communicate with team. You'll learn pretty quick.
Dictate
Sometimes when I'm extremely bored I play those typing games to see how fast you can type without mistakes. Helps build up your speed! Or just spend all day IMing people...
