Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?

What’s fair compensation (NC based) for commercial real estate paralegal work? (1.5 years of experience)

Currently make 48k but about to get a raise and would like to know how much the market is for this.

For reference I’m the only real estate paralegal at the firm! I do bill my time but only about 3-4 hours per day (not my fault & my boss has confirmed to me that’s completely fine).

Fellow Payroll colleagues, how much are you getting paid and YOE? I’m a new pay admin with less than a year of experience in Hawaii and I feel like I am underpaid for the amount of work I do. Aside from processing payroll, I also do HR related work, specifically benefits and leave management and the amount of work is sometimes too much for me. I don’t know if it’s the fact that I’m new to the job or if the work is really too much because it’s overwhelming.

In negotiation for a Manager Role for BNY Mellon (grade K). Looking for some guidance on how hard I can push the issue with increasing my offer.
My convo with the HR recruiter was that he would push for $130k plus a sign on bonus. Offer is coming back at $125k with no bonus. Exiting my current position I'll be leaving a 3% pay increase, $12k bonus payout next month and full remote work on the table. Does anyone else find it difficult to ask for time off? I haven’t taken a “vacation day” since February, billed 185+ hour months consistently through the pandemic (exceeded hours for 2020 bonus eligibility), and am feeling pretty burnt out.
