I've heard people swear by their AWS certification, saying it's opened a ton of doors for them. Others say they're useless.

If my employer doesn't use AWS, would a certification be useful for landing a job that uses AWS?

I have 13+ years of domian experience in the HRIT space and was part of HR digital transformation projects.. but my problem is I do not have a solid product implementation experience..I have worked with config teams across different HR platform ..I know more of less what each product is capable but again never done the config on my own and don't have any certification. I am 28F coming to 29 soon, just got promoted to Senior associates. Partner is 32. I want to dedicate times for growing my career for few more years but my parents, especially my mom been pressing for kids. My mom is having terminal illness so I understand her concern but me and my partner is not even ready.
