Want to work in private equity? I’m looking for a junior fund controller out here in Denver. 1-2 years of experience is what we’re looking for, but I’d take the right candidate with more or less experience. DM me for a link to the listing.

4.5 yoe in audit. have opportunity to move down in rank to valuation for a tiny bit more money in lcol. with that said, i’m up for promo to manager in audit. i hate it - but if i stay i’ll make more money in the meantime and have exit ops to shitty fp&a roles. my question is: is the move to valuation provide any better exit ops? is it worth it at all this late?

Currently in finance ops group at a PE shop in Canada. In late stages of interview process w GS in NYC for similar role but at the Associate level. All indications point to an offer being imminent but I have concerns with 1) title (junior VP’s in the group have +1/-1 YOE than me, 2) base feels a bit light given I have 9+ YOE (job description says top end is US$160K)…Nervous for a change as current role is very comfy but nothing ever grows in comfort zones. Thoughts?

I had about 6 years experience at big four auditing mostly PE and hedge funds, left as a manager and switched to industry, have been working at my current job in fund accounting (PE) a little over a year. If I want to switch my job an a year, what salaries range I am looking at? Is it very competitive to find a good paying senior level job? On a separate note, the main reason that I am considering a new job is wlb which still not that good. Do 9-5 jobs really exist at my level with a good pay?
