From the article,
With the British pound retreating to record lows against the US dollar, a steel Rolex GMT-Master II that sells for $11,289 in the US can be purchased for $9,293 in the UK with US dollars, a discount of 18%, according to WatchPro. A 41mm diameter Datejust model can be bought in the UK for $7,088 in US dollars, a discount of 19% compared to US retail.
Jomashop legit? These discounts are bonkers

Moonwatch or nothing when it comes to Omega stainless steel IMO.

Agree here, also can’t overemphasize enough going to an AD to look before you buy - I was going to buy FOIS instead of moonwatch, but in person (to my eye) they were night and day side by side and I went for the moonwatch

Check Costco.com. Got my moonwatch for $3300 with the full box kit - extra straps and tools, etc. they have some wild looking broad arrow one now but I’m sure a regular moonwatch will be coming through soon.

Haha what, that’s awesome. Website doesn’t have any unfortunately
This is more like a modern Speedmaster Reduced than a Moonwatch. It has its place, and of the 38's this is probably the best of the bunch. I think it looks good. But, if you want a Moonwatch, best to hold out for the real thing, or one of the closer variants like FOIS or one the CK2998 special editions.
Pro
Agree with M1, not feeling this watch at all and do you really want to give some random 3k?

I think the 38 is solid option to consider for someone with a small wrist, or someone who like the looks of the Moonwatch, but don’t necessarily like the manual winding and no date. This watch is packed with a lot of features, 54 hr power reserve, 28,800vph, co-axial escapement...etc. it’s great value and looks like a Moonwatch.
You can check what they usually sell for in chrono24. No idea how good that price is, sounds a tad low, check on there to be more confident

The 38mm Speedy has some variations that might surprise you...(see photo below...)
They don’t come right out and say that the 38mm if for women, but clearly half the collection is designed that way. If you want to consider a slightly smaller Speedy, I’d look at the 40mm Racing. That said, the 42mm Speedy Pro wears smaller than its size indicates, and any variation of the Pro is better than any Non-Pro variant. One could certainly be excused for some “wrist-hang” when it comes to an Icon like the Moonwatch.
I am the minority that hates the FOIS and Moonwatch. I'm not feeling the 42mm case. I have a Racing that I love to death. The 39mm size is great on my 6.25" wrists (the perspective is off in the attached photo but it's smaller than it appears). Look at their entire catalogue, including previous models that are no longer in production.

Note that this was a 2009 Japanese market exclusive so they're kind of hard to find.
Not overly fond of the 38s but I would say that I don’t think it has to be Moonwatch/FOIS or nothing.
The FOIS’s hands for example really don’t do it for me, and I hated most Moonwatch bracelets up to this latest version.
I love the Reduced for example, and as A2 said the racing editions; I think one of the good things with Speedies is that somehow, they all have their role to play. It is really only down to personal preference around aesthetics, movement... and well, wrist size!

I’d be surprised if the movement on this one wasn’t...a lemon. 🍋
