Why do I feel so guilty about wanting to take another offer and leaving my team? I like my current teammates just HATE the client and project. I’ve also asked for a raise multiple times and have been told no. I’m underpaid but am up for promotion this year (June). I don’t think Deloitte can/willmatch. I want to take the money but I feel like I’m still learning leaderships skills and can see the potential for beefing out the management portion of my resume. What would you do? (Offer 50% more)

Is it possible for you & your partner to both be career driven/focused and be able to raise kids? My husband & I have 1 child so far & we want to expand our family with 1 more but I’ve been told from multiple people that 1 person usually has to back down & it’s usually the mom. We both have demanding jobs but we’ve made it work so far with scheduling & tag teaming activities/tasks related to our kid, dogs & home.

What is the path to a GC for a senior associate on a TN? I’ve been with my firm since college (2 years) - firm policy is that they initiate the process after a two year tenure (and provided you are senior associate rank, at minimum). Will I be able to pass the PERM evaluation? If not, would things get easier with a subsequent promotion? Or would it be best to lateral to a new firm and start the process there? Thoughts on Costco sofa sets / sectionals? Not the most stylish, but looking for comfy and durable and strain resistant to survive baby and dog and extended family. Doesn't need to last forever, but 5 years of enjoyable comfy sitting, sleeping and reasonable use is all I expect. Had a trendy gorgeous velvet masterpiece before baby. I miss those days. 😔 Anyway, any advice, fabrics, or other things to consider?

Not sure if anyone else deals with this, but I feel so inferior compared to my friends at medical school or those who went to Ivy post grads. I went straight to Accenture right after college and while I’m so grateful for having a good job, I just feel like I haven’t done enough and will never realize certain financial goals at the rate I’m going. The problem is I’ve never really been good at setting attainable goals and often get discouraged and feel as though I can never be “the high achiever”
