Wanting some advice on salary benchmarking if possible as I'm unsatisfied with current.
Recently, a month back I made a switch to a product based company/startup. For a month, I was getting to know their one of the product having tech stack as Java & Aws. Now after a month, I am being put in a new product completely based on golang & temporal.
My total exp is 3.8 years, since I have already spent 3.8 of my life in Java stack, would that be good for me if I make a switch to some other language or tech stack? I see, there are very few position for go.
I am planning to invest in smallcases by opening a trading account with Zerodha. Some of these smallcases consist of 50 small and mid cap Indian stocks with fortnightly churn. Updating these in the Independence Checkpoint once in two weeks will be extremely painful. The automatic broker data import (AIR) page does not show Zerodha as an option. Anyone had a similar dilemma?
Need some help around company selection.
Currently I hold offers from Airtel X Labs & Paytm for almost similar compensation package.

What is going on at Deloitte CyberSecurity Practice? The hiring process was so riddled with mistakes I turned them down. I’ve got 3 POS HP laptops sitting here, a sign on bonus 6 weeks before I start, a bill for over payment, 3 coaches, and a 2 month background check that never concluded. How’s life on the inside? I imagine it’s very short staffed and riddled with problems. Fair assumption?

Looking at two homes: 1. 3bdrm / 2 baths - 1800 sq ft ; 2. 2 bdrm / 2 baths - 1800 sq ft. Both have the same list price. I know it depends, but from a resale value standpoint, would it be better to buy the 3 bdrm or 2 bdrm condo? Which would buyers find more attractive or appear to have more value?
I got an email that I am selected in HCL interview, HR called me after that and talked to me very rudely, asking same details that was in the form at the starting, and finally told me that he can max give me 40 % hike on my present CTC which is 9Lac/annum with an experience of 8 years. I was unable to negotiate because of his rude talking as he didn't allow me to speak and disconnected the call after few minutes, didn't even say as bye before disconnecting 😂.

I filed my STEM OPT report late this year due to delays from the legal team and my intl advisor encouraged me to retain proofs in case I get in trouble filing for h1b or green card in the future. Is it appropriate to just screenshot the work emails + dates and send it to myself? What’s an ethical way of doing this?

Does anybody pay their candidates for going through technical tests? We have a take home test that can get pretty long (10 hours in average) and so we are thinking on giving some sort of compensation but we don’t know how (gift cards, cash? Do you transfer to the candidates account or do they sent an invoice?) and especially how much. Any insight will be greatly appreciated!
Looking for a remote Human Resources Manager position. Have twenty years experience. Can anyone help? Thank you!
I cannot work for my current company anymore. $50k can barely cover my expenses but it seems like everyone who I talk to is paying around the same or less 😭
I want to hire 3 software developers and don't care about the location as long as there is a 4h overlap. I was thinking of approaching 3 different recruiting agencies from different locations, so that their talent pool doesn't overlap. I want to do this to speed up the process and pick the best-fit candidates from several locations. The only problem with this is the risk of wasting time with bad local recruiting agencies.
Anyone tried this before? is this a bad idea? Any tools to help with it?
Looking for a short-term contractor. This is not a long term role, though if you become interested in a long-term at this company (faang) after strong performance, open to that. Looking for an experienced recruiter who is interested in helping me build process and structure around recruiting (not actual recruiting itself). If you’ve done PM work in the past and are interested please let me know. Thanks.

At first I thought my job as a recruiter at The Salvation Army was a great job for me but really they have never had a recruiter so I am basically building this job up, I have to go out to job fairs even on Saturday I felt like I was doing good my boss did a 90 day evaluation basically saying I wasn’t performing as he wishes and I’m honestly not happy any more and don’t get paid enough.. I think it’s time for me to look around for new opportunities. Someone help?!

Any leads on remote recruiting/HR positions? Have passively been looking until I received my $0.39 wage increase yesterday, ouch.
For context, worked recruiting in an agency for 1.5 years, talent acquisition in house for 3 years, and most recently HR Specialist a little over 1 year.

I just heard my company may be letting recruiters go, so I’d love to connect with anyone hiring, because I may be on the market soon.
I'm making a job change for the first time in a while (hopefully!) and in late stages of interviewing for a TA Director role with a Series C funded startup. They're at about 240 employees now, growing to 400 in the next year. I told them I'm targeting around $180K for base; anyone have advice on how should I negotiate in terms of equity?
Looking for advice! I’m currently the only recruiter at a Tech consulting company.
I’ve built them up and placed half the company, and have no WLB — I would like to switch to another tech company. So — in an industry where Recruiters are slammed, how do you as a recruiter stand out/get in touch? I’m eyeing GitHub, GitLab, and Microsoft Partners but I’ve heard their TA departments are slammed
Hey guys! Facing a new challenge and at a loss. I am expecting an offer for a Talent Acquisition Specialist position in tech - prob 85k. I have one year of sourcing/recruiting experience, and about 15 years work exp in other fields. Is it reasonable to ask for a signing bonus? If so, what number? Pretty sure the salary band extends to 95-100k. TIA for any insight :)
I had submitted my resignation a few days ago. It’s been an emotional few days sharing the news with the different teams that I work with. Everyone seems upset and I feel like I’m leaving my family, but the other job has better benefits/pay.
Has anyone else had this feeling? Leaving a company/people that you’re so close with for the unknown at a new position? Not sure if the feeling of guilt/emotions will pass once I officially leave.
