Hi! I have two offers and I’m not sure what to do. One is with a small firm that serves as outside counsel to medical practices (leasing, employment issues and acquisitions are primary work load) and the other is in-house for a pharmaceutical company (managing outside counsel, vendor contracts, privacy). The firm pays much better (1800 hours, flexible wfh) but I feel like the experience in house would go further in becoming a GC down the road. Please help!

I'm 20 years old. New to consulting. Been rejected by 2 Clients and I think it's because I look like a kid with a baby face. Any advice on this? Not sure what to do and feel discouraged
Been performing like a high performer on my client up to this point and all the sudden I find myself looking up a therapist and being almost useless to my team (maybe useless is harsh, but I can’t will myself to get basic stuff done at this point). Literally happened within a split moment; in the morning I was taking the lead on calls and sometime around noon, it just hit and hit hard. Don’t know how to explain it yet, but I wanted to come here and vent. Anyone else experience this?
Do MBB people complain about their pay too or are people generally satisfied with their compensation there?
Can someone provide a compensation range and role level for KPMG Advisory who has 3 YOE (2 in consulting) and 2 masters degrees ?
I’m a first year manager going into my second year. I like my job for the most part but am always wondering what else is out there. I was an auditor for 4 years, now do ASC 740 work. Being that I have almost 6 years in, is it the longer I stay the more I’ll be locked into tax? Recruiters keep sending senior roles that require 3-5 years of experience for a $10kish raise but I wonder if I’m selling myself short but also don’t want to get ‘stuck’. Any advice?
My memory is terrible lately. Boss and client noticed during a work dinner, asked how I keep up with my job. I felt very scolded...

Need some advice - been at the D for a year and have been on the same implementation project for over a year. Have a technical background and am thinking of starting to look for exits to industry but also am curious what strategy projects are and if I would be interested in the work. Is it worth networking onto a strategy project at the D or should I just continue to look for industry exists and then go b school and then try for MBB/T2 ?
Thinking about applying for roles at Deloitte...is Deloitte a good company to work for on the tech consulting side? Any referrals?
My son (1 yr old) holds a multiple entry Indian visa. We visited India this May and came back in August. We might have to travel to India again in November. Is there a cooling off period?
ACN gets compensation info tomorrow for salary increases. I expect to hear a lot of joy and sorrow on FB. Good luck everyone!
How do you represent your time consulting on your resume when looking to go back to industry? I've been on the same A&D project for my year+ at ACN. i.e. what do you share about client work?
Hope to learn more if you bought an apt in Manhattan, or if you decided against it (renting/moving to upstate/Long Island/Jersey). My husband and I are considering to have a baby soon and are thinking of buying and living in Manhattan for the next 10 years or so (looking at property under $2M). Please share what you considered as you were making the decision - I hate throwing away rent but also don’t want to trap ourselves in significant financial obligations. Thanks!
