Hi everyone, I'm currently a BDR at SF for the french market. And I'm questioning my next steps. One of the two possible path ahead of me are:
- SmB AE
- Enterprise corporate sales ("Little AE" working in large account with a senior AE)
Which way seems to be more profitable for my next career plan ? (I'm a little bit tired of cold calling all day though.)
Should I stay at SF more few years or switch elsewhere ?
Thanks for your help ! Salesforce

Roth IRA has a lot of options. I personally use Fidelity. 529 check your state rules to see if there are benefits to opening it with the state plan instead of a brokerage. If you are still employed with the company you probably can’t roll your 401k into an IRA

Vanguard offers a 529 through Nevada if you are in a state with no benefit to using their state plan. I’m in California which has no 529 deduction on contributions so I use the vanguard plan.

There no tax benefit in California for contributions so you can pick a plan anywhere. Pick a plan with low costs and good investment options. I was already investing with Vanguard and so using their 529 plan was super easy.
If you’re a savvy investor I would recommend vanguard or fidelity. You can even self direct with chase directly into stocks. If you are not, feel free to DM me, I’m a financial advisor and open IRAs frequently. 529s are a little more work. How old are your kids or kid?
How savvy does one need to be to go to a website or app and click the open account button? Just put IRA money in cheap diversified index funds. For 529 put it in a balanced fund or age based option. Not saying you can’t offer value with planning if someone has complex situations, but no one should need an advisor to open IRA or 529 accounts or how to invest in them. There is no investing knowledge required.
