Was at ACN, now I'm at MSFT. It has happened at least once. 😉
Get more specific about what exactly you want to do in tech and either get projects in that industry/competency OR go work at a startup for a year to hone the skillset you want to apply THEN try to get back in. Can be easier and solid startup experience is looked on favorably. Startups can be less picky about you having to have specific skills prior to hire depending on the position (esp at early-stage where you wear many hats) so the point of entry can be easier. Then when you want to go FAANG or whatever you have positive signaling and more applicable experience, assuming you picked a solid role and company.
It's pretty hard. I joined Accenture first and am targeting tech companies now. It's easy to com over the Accenture tho, way better culture and pay imo.
I interviewed at MSFT twice. They loved me both times but I got beat out by others who had more hands on technical experience.
It's doable because I know people that have done it. You just have to know what role you will be targeting and work hard on getting the skills needed for the requirements
