I’m considering moving from NYC to Florida for family reasons, and I’m worried about my prospects. I’m a 7th-year associate at a mid-sized firm and most of my experience is in arbitration. As a senior associate, what are my chances of being able to lateral to another mid-sized firm? Have I waited to long?

Do you disclose when you were promoted on your CV? I’ve been as a assistant manager for over a year but have just been ‘promoted’ to manager. Have been doing the same role for the entire time… only thing that changed was my official role title. Do I need to split this out into two roles on my CV?

Would ideally like to keep as one optically to avoid having to ‘spend more time in the manger role’… as I’ve been doing that role for a year now and keen to move on!
