My daughter was diagnosed with an echogenic heart focus at 20 week anatomy scan and it turned out to be nothing. Please talk to your ob about this - I read up a lot and stressed about it, but at end of day it was inconclusive and results varied between ethnic groups etc. Not sure of how this relates to the bowel, but having experienced a similar level of anxiety I’d definitely recommend talking to your doctor about what this actually means both biologically and statistically based on your specific profile.

Our nanny takes my 7 month old out for one, sometimes 2, long walks every day (weather permitting). Love the idea of fresh air every day but its often for several hours at a time and he always returns home crying bc she's pushed him to his limit between feedings. She brushes it off saying hes just fussy which kind of irks me. Im also concerned that he's spending too much time strapped in a stroller. Is it reasonable to ask her to take shorter walks? Am I overreacting?

Deloitte moms, I need your guidance. For some reason, someone (not sure which team) has marked my maternity leave (LOA) starting next week on DTE and I can’t update it to show PTO. I have repeatedly told the Leaves team and MetLife that I’m not starting LOA until the baby comes (due date 10/31, no baby yet). Whom do I contact to fix the DTE issue? If this happened to you, what did you do?

My husband and I are trying to have a second child and have been trying for over a year. I recently was referred to a fertility doctor and after many tests found out I don’t have much time (I’m 36). The doctors say all I can really do is live a healthy lifestyle (which I do anyways). Any tips or advice from moms that battled infertility? I’m trying to stay positive but it can be so hard sometimes.

I’ve really been having the urge to get out of consulting lately. I’m hesitant to leave Deloitte however Bc my husband and I plan to start a family in about 2 years and I know deloitte’s 16 week parental leave policy is rare in the marketplace. Mom’s - do you feel like it’s worth sticking around another 2ish years for the parental leave benefit? (FYI i am newly promoted to SC)

I could use some guidance on how to transition out of firm life into a government role. Prior to law: four years working for a state and a city, and four years before that worked at a consulting agency strictly serving government agencies and cities/counties. I love admin law, have some litigation and some transaction work as a lawyer. Thanks!
