Ya, I agree with this. Things haven't started getting better. Inflation has been rapid but wages haven't budged. Yet we're working harder due to staff shortages. I'm tired, I think most of us are. Something has to give VERY soon.
Yeah, I felt really good about being in it together but now it’s just getting by until I get a new job cause I’ve learned a lot about myself and my companies issues and I don’t want to be part of it
I was - although I don’t understand the justification. I work in the retail sector and due to the fact that people were stuck home online shopping on their devices I was told to open up a warehouse, plan and build another, figure out how to navigate working in a Covid environment when CDC themselves were figuring out guidelines. I did it all - grateful for the job and opportunity and petrified of catching something or bringing it home to my family everyday. I think I liberally inhaled Lysol as I used it like body spray - lol. Masks, gloves, stripping in the garage before entering the house. It was such an intense period. I am still reeling from it and I am very very exhausted
It was rough working through that but i feel like 2021 and 2022 have been even more of a challenge.

Yes, I still don't understand how I was able to work that long without catching it. I think 2020 and 2021 were exhausting years.
Essential enough to put my life at risk but not essential enough to pay fairly. Yup, good times.
