Has LinkedIn apply helped anyone to land an interview etc.? If not what according to you are some of the best ways to land a job in your company of choice or bette yet what has worked for you?

Have an upcoming interview with the hiring manager for the position (non-tech L5/L6), but without guidance on what type of interview (this is the first). Does anyone know what typically is the focus? This is a thirty minute interview.

She has said she’s keen to develop me, to get promoted in 6 months, which will result in salary increase (40k-50k) 2. entry/mid level, 70k (decent benefits package), team seem nice after 3 rounds of interviews, newly created role, they’ve said I can make it my own. what would you do???

Hi! I interviewed for an HRBP position and the interview process lasted 6 weeks. I met with several people within the company. I provided my salary range in my initial interview and it was in range. I was provided a verbal offer and it was at the bottom of my range. I negotiated a sign on bonus and then the hiring manager said they wanted to down grade the position to a AHRBP with the same salary and sign on. The in house Recruiter called last week that the base will now be 15k less. Thoughts?

Currently acting a back-up to our lead recruiter, who is currently on furlough. We have an opening in our marketing department and I'm coordinating the interviews for the position. A former employee applied for the position and the department insisted that we interview her, even though she is missing required skills. We had 2 people in the marketing department interview her... they said she would be welcomed back, but she would likely struggled in the position initially and without having a supervisor who can teach her, it will be difficult (position will report to directly to department head, who is out of touch with the day-to-day of this position). Despite this, department head still wants to advance her to final interviews and will likely hire her even with additional candidates in the pipeline. Thoughts on addressing this?

Hi everyone! I’m currently in the process of interviewing and just got an offer yesterday and they want me to make a decision in a few days. I‘m in final stage with another firm that I prefer but final stage doesn’t happen until late next week. I’ve already tried to ask them to move the interview forward but because it involves multiple people, they’re unable to do so. What should I do in this case? I still really want to interview but I don’t want to be left with nothing. Thanks!
