I recently had my final round with one of the partners at Mck. I start my initial structure as to what areas / questions to probe and he just jumps in goes “no” “no” after each bullet. While I wasn’t an expert on the topic, I dont think I was way off-base. His reaction kinda threw me off. I got nervous and was out of structure the rest of the time. Was his reaction normal? Wouldn’t you let someone finish their initial hypothesis? Whether its correct or not is proved later and then synthesized.
