Was considering relocating to NYC from my current office which is also HCOL area but relatively cheaper for personal reason. Have been working with a team in NY virtually serving a major client and the team likes me. Would it be possible to negotiate for a higher salary bc the living cost is gonna be higher? If possible, what would be the correct way to approach it?

I’m a senior level creative with no awards (mainly due to working for shops that don’t enter award shows). I really want to make the leap to W+K. I’ve worked with a few ex-W+K peeps and they all say that should be my next move, and that I’d flourish there. They don’t really have contacts there anymore though. Any tips? W+K says they don’t care about awards, just your book and how you think. In reality, it’s hard to get anybody to look at your book without awards (unless you have a reference).

How do you get over feelings that you’ve missed massive market gains? Over the last 7 years, I’ve sold things like Apple, Nvidia, Facebook, Amazon, BTC and a whole bunch of other cryptos.
