SA1 that’s not the quote.
Nah, i feel you. I was picked on throughout high school (was the new kid, chubby, smart, shy, frizzy hair, had to shop at goodwill, lived in the poor area, you name it) and while those years were rough, I’d like to think that karma has been looking out for me.

Wow, tough crowd. For context, I come from a neighborhood where majority of students are FGLI (including myself). I got the chance to leave my hometown and find a new life in the big city. Yes, many of my peers back home are probably just as happy as I am, but I’m proud that I made it out, against the odds.
Nothing wrong with being proud of making it out of a small town where a lot of people don’t. Be proud of yourself for achieving goals, but don’t pity others.
Ok?
Just know that’s probably how other people that are doing better than you feel about your job.
Yet they didn’t need to look at yours to feel better

Lol don’t mind these pricks OP. They do it too when they gossip with friends about people they grew up with/went to school with/work with. They just don’t post about it on FB so now they get to shame you for doing so haha. Sometimes it feels nice to see how your hard work paid off vs. alternate paths you could have taken...especially when people who went down those other paths were mean to you or cast doubt on your ability to succeed. Go you!
Which job made you feel the best in comparison?
