Create one and present it to your manager. If he says it looks good, then go for it. If your salary and payplan looks good. If you feel strongly you can succeed...then this might be good. Sometimes you can set your own pace and make out like a bandit.

That’s what I’m a little worried about tbh. I negotiated my OTE for year 1. But with a 6-9 month sales cycle it would be impossible to hit that OTE without a ramp, which in turn would be a pay cut for me. Leadership was a little bit chaotic when I joined so I’ve been patient but this lack of ramp is concerning to me. I’m not an SDR, I’m an ent rep that left a good company and pipeline to come here. I bring a lot of value to the org. I love the idea of presenting my ramp for approval and backing it up with the long term impact I can have on the company.

However, if they don’t agree to a ramp I think I will move on to another company.

Don’t want to stay in consulting but have an offer for 50% pay raise if I do. Thoughts? Normally I wouldn’t chase the money over my own happiness but since exit opps are slim right now, I feel like I should just do it? Anyone have advice or anything else I need to consider?

Getting huge cultural shock @tcs..In infy everything was at your fingertips, had apps installed for everything, every process related thing was very easy.. but here in tcs you are touching your ears from behind.Managers,TPDs and persons taking project interviews have no collaboration..They don't even look at emoloyee base location while calling...Not expected from a so called IT Giant ..
Looks like need to switch again after 1 year

My AST promotion has been initiated in last quarter but project didn’t approve . This time project has approved and sent it to CORP HR. When I asked my manager he told that this time you will get promoted as you are the only one from our team who has been sent to HR for promotion. This will be effective from 1 April .
If this is true then when should I expect my promotion letter, will it be in May/June or towards the end of this month as per recent promotion news of some project?
