Was in the process of interviewing in industry starting in July. Ended up connecting with the right MD at my firm during the process and getting on the type of work I’ve been trying to do for 2 years. The project is really intense and not sure how to do my final rounds with the other two companies during working hours. Is it worth the PTO If I wouldn’t take the offers? I don’t want to blow this project but don’t want to seem like a flake to the other companies. Advice please

Anyone witness slackers who got into companies you have no idea how? Had a coworker who does jack chit at work besides chatting on Facebook yet lands at a faang company? I guess if he brings the same work ethic he will be spit out for sure. Or maybe he just had no interest in doing project work.

I have 7 plus experience in c++. I am trying new job within Chennai location but I am getting 1 or 2 interview calls for a month. I know c++ is old language and openings are very less and competitor people also less.
Shall learn new courses like AWS... its totally different from my experience I am not sure it will help to my career.

I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k.
