People joining TCS at Senior Consultant designation with 12 years exp, with no MBA degree or even from with exceptional experience in niche technologies is truth these days. Existing employees with 20 years exp working on presales consulting, winning millions of dollars of projects in RFPs, delivering multi million dollar assignments are still not getting promoted and paid in peanuts Makes me wonder if companies are really enjoying so called great resignation period. What's the thought ?
Debating whether it makes sense to try and lateral over to BCG/McK right now…for context I’m a C in Deloitte S&A looking to do mission focused work in the Defense/international relations space…It matters to me that my new firm would have this kind of work but I’m also trying to apply for a MBA/MPP now and feel like my chances would be better coming from one of these firms…not sure how to weigh these priorities but would love some advice!
Do MBA essays need conventional conclusions where we have a few lines bringing the essay together?
I have a decision between a full-time offer from Simon-Kucher & Partners OR Accenture Strategy. I’m leaning ACN/SKP, 60/40. I would love to get people’s input. Considerations: interesting project work, people + culture, potential exit opportunities - consulting/PE, optionality of type of exit industry, MBA program. Consulting
Hi 8.3 YOE, Business Analyst designation, Joined wipro now with 26.5+1lakh JB, Thinking to make switch after a year, however that woud be my 5th switch then in 9.3 years. Hi fellow fishes, want your help on an aspect. I've been offered the Sr Consultant role at EY with 20LPA CTC. I'm at level 9 in Accenture with total 6 years of work experience (2.5 yrs pre-MBA and the remaining post-MBA). I'm getting a feeling that I've been lowballed (by quite a margin). Just wanted to know if that's the case and that this is the standard pay for this role at EY. Bdw, I'm an XIMB'18 grad. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'm interviewing for an L6 PMM role at Meta. Their all in is just around $320k ($220k base + 20% cash bonus + 220k rsus over 4 years). Any views on wlb pmm meta L6? I also have an offer in bizops at a public high flying fintech co. (closer to 400k all in). They are public so rsus are also real but not a household name. Any recommendations re wlb, long term career impact / potential? Bizops seems too fuzzy for me but there's lower comp. The pmm sounds exciting... 3 years post mba mbb

Is it normal to take a hit on the base comp to pivot to PE Associate? (Even if it’s a $25k+ base hit) At the post-mba role in my T2 consulting firm, but want to pivot to PE. (HH are mostly reaching out about LMM opportunities, $2–4B) Total comp for year 1 could slightly increase due to bonus.

As a consultant who is not looking to go back to consulting (B,M,BCG) and making $106K now, is a MBA worth it or is it better to work my way up within my company to get the $$$$?

Hi all. Currently at university majoring in MIS, graduating this Spring, just accepted a full time Consulting role at Crowe in the Cloud Solutions discipline. I know it’s early for this, but I’d like to get into Product Management for a FAANG caliber company, and am not sure what career path I should try to focus towards. Should I be working towards an MBA? What positions should or shouldn’t I be working towards to set my resume up? Any certs to check out? How many YOE might I need? Thanks a ton
It seems like FAANG paid their in house lawyers the most based on several threads. How hard is it to get a job at one of them for a 3-4th year associate coming from a v10 bog law firm? Is there any other type of industry/company that pays similar to FAANG?

After reading a few post about the tax disadvantage of using a Target Retirement Funds, I am thinking I need to shake things up. Would you suggest moving the funds in Mutual Funds, such as VTSAX? Aha! Real consultants here. Away from those strategy kids who live in an illusion that they can solve shit and those who think they're consultants coz of their strong opinions on fonts and shapes.
Curious about freelancer’s opinion: Are agencies working toward primarily freelancer based teams? Or FT will always be the gold?

Where do you see the market for Salesforce in the next five years? Will salesforce maintain its dominance over the market, or will other options threaten it? And will salesforce professionals have to evolve and adapt to become more “CRM” oriented and not just salesforce focused?
