Was just given an excel modeling test that’s expected to be turned around ASAP for MM IB interview. Instructions couldn’t be more vague. Is it a bad look to be asking for clarification on instructions or encouraged?

How do you and your significant other split expenses such as rent and eating at restaurants? We are in our late 20s, not married, she works in tech and makes ~$150k while I am an Associate making ~$400k. We split our $4500 rent based on income so I pay 70% rent and I pay for all meals at restaurants (we eat out ~4 meals per week lunch or dinner). Im a new analyst 1 and I got slammed today because I uploaded a document that wasn’t supposed to be uploaded to the VDR despite the fact that two associates signed off on the VDR.
