Was not gambling for 6 months and then blew up a few thousands last night. Fighting the urge not to go back.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2.5 years and during our college years/before we were dating I slept with one of his friends and also kissed two others. Even after being together for that long he still gets upset about it and causes a fight. I don't even know what to say anymore because it's so ridiculous to me..... is this normal? How do I resolve this for good? Any advice is appreciated :)

Just wanted to post an update. 68 weeks ago I posted about my drinking problems. It was bad. It’s been 8 months now without a single drink. I still can’t believe it. I still miss drinking. I’ve sat with coworkers and watched them drink. It’s not nearly as fun, but I am so thankful each morning I can hold my head up high. Will I drink again? I only said I would quit for 60 days. Can I have a beer? Some wine? A fine bourbon? I sometimes crave it. I guess there is the answer! You can all do this!

Quit the booze back in September. It mostly hasn't been that hard but I can't get a grip on my emotions this week. Feeling overwhelming sadness for no real reason. (Cont)

My dad has a problem with alcohol. When he stops drinking for a day he clearly exhibits all the signs for alcohol withdraw. Shaky hands, sweating insomnia. I’m so tired of seeing him fall. My mom has passed away (they were long divorced) so I really don’t have anyone to turn to. How can I be supportive without being an enabler? He has lost the last three jobs and is currently jobless and will must likely need my financial help soon.

Does anyone have recommendations for non-alcoholic drinks? I have been having soda with lime at happy hours, but also just found Athletic Beer that is n/a as an option.
