Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox. I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). DDB Chicago posted ‘we’re hiring!’ today. For the same creative roles they just laid off.The press DDB would’ve gotten for being the first agency to bring people back? But instead they humiliated those people with this tone. Really sad!!!!!

I switched to my current role with the verbal agreement that I would be third teir support - there will always be someone else between the customer and me. I recently found out that a new distributor doesn't want to stand up a support desk to do that for at least a year, leaving my team as first point of contact if anything goes wrong with a system.

My company is adopting Scrum and hiring a bunch of agile coaches to assist with sprints. We got assigned our agile coach that'll be starting soon.

I read a description of what this role is supposed to be for and it sounds like they'll be leading Scrum ceremonies. So they run the planning meeting, the retrospective and daily stand ups. Up to now, I've been doing those and it's taken a total of like 2 hours a week of my time.

What on earth do agile coaches do with the other 95% of their time?

I’ve been practicing for 5 years and am getting burnt out on firm life. I would love to go in house but I don’t really have the traditional practice background - I’ve done mostly professional liability, with some labor and employment. Our system is really lacking and we do a lot of work outside of it to track data. Currently I’m using Excel to track data from multiple resources, however, it’s so manual and prone to error. Any suggestions to keep the data clean when I have to pull info from multiple places? I’m constantly auditing and we won’t even look at getting a new system until next year :(
