How worried should I be for my job? I work for a publicis agency. Have any strategists here been laid off as a result of COVID-19? Brands are going dark but won’t spend spike once this is all over?!

Does anyone have tips on negotiating a rent increase/lease renewal? I just got my renewal lease offer and it’s 56% higher than the net-effective rent I signed for in January. I’m obviously not expecting to pay peak-covid prices again, or get any months free next year.. but a 56% increase is a little much, no?

Has anyone gotten in better shape while pregnant? I gained 20 lbs since March 2020 and stopped all of my workout classes with COVID. Was juuust about to get back into yoga, Pilates, and barre then found out I’m pregnant. I *need* to get some strength back but don’t want to overdo it (ftm at 37).

What self-care practices do you do for yourself since Covid that you didn’t do before? I’ll go first… I take naps during the day to protect my ✌🏾 

Have you been sick with the flu/common cold since the start of COVID?

Came down with something this week (getting tested as a precaution) and just realized it’s the first time I’ve been sick in nearly two years. Such a weird feeling, and also concerning since I still mask up most places!

What tricks do/will you use in the classroom to reinforce COVID safety guidelines?

Are daycares observing 2week closures if there is a positive covid case? Or Is it limited to just the class? Are they requiring covid test results to go back? Are they returning any money if this happens for extended time? Are they sending kids activity material or zoom call to provide some form of care/engagement and relief to parents when school is closed for you LO? Trying to understand the norm here

I been at this start up since 2018. Then covid hit. That summer of 2020 I lost about 600.00 for the few events I signed up for. As an independent business trying to take off, I have tried a few different things, it's just not where I wish to be yet. I invision a lush holistic healing center where I can implement n execute the layout for my business plan. Life keeps handing me hurdles and delays. Just when I think I am getting somewhere, another detour shows up. This is okay. I keep dreaming

Interviewing for SFMC consultant role with both larger global firms with big enterprise projects and smaller growing firms with more interesting project roles.

COVID and Chlamydia.

Many teachers in my county are resigning or retiring. We are being forced to go sit in empty classrooms when we’ve been working from home this entire year. Some have health concerns, others have children they aren’t comfortable bringing up to the building. Some have children that are also in online school, so easier to be home with them while working. I know not everyone agrees with some of us choosing to leave, but our county is one of the worst for Covid. We also just had to cancel 10,000 vaccinations because the truck didn’t show up.

So my mom's side immediate family all live in the same neighborhood. They aren't taking any neccessary precautions against COVID (like intermingling with other households without masks, going to restaurants eating indoors, etc). I've tried explaining to them over the phone to start taking this more seriously and giving them facts, examples, and everything. Nothing sticks longterm. On top of that, they love stopping by without notice to my house every other week! My mom keeps letting them in...
