Great news
Ok
KPMG has an office in DC, it’s more central for folks coming in from Maryland and a much better way to attract younger people that want to live in the city in my experience
this is awful news. I want to move further into the suburbs to save imon rent and for a home. now I can't drive and wherever I live MUST be metro accessible. Fortunately I plan on leaving before then
Seems to make sense to me. Median age at PwC is 27. Young people don't want to commute to Tyson's.
👏 OP
really? glad I'm at EY in Tysons...
I hope we move back someday. The burbs suck
I know but I’m not going anywhere
Did PWC just announce that they are moving? It seems odd they would do this when the other Big 4 firms will be in Tysons still.
Most people that I know from managers to managers above, all have houses in VA or MD. Some may have kids go to schools in these areas. It is true that it will make Sr or Associates happy since paying rent in DC vs Tyson are not much different, but they got to “live in city”. So I’m wondering how many management level would quit for not moving.
When was this announcement?
