I took a low paying contract role at a MAANG company just to have it on my resume and hopes to get full time out of it. I’ve been in my hometown today for a family emergency (everything is getting better now) so have been spending a lot of time alone with my brother who is also in town. It’s been a long time since we’ve spent time together. Even though I hate the events that led us here, I am so grateful that we had this time together. It can be easy for me to convince myself that family isn’t important but what the past several days have shown me is that I have a love for them that is deep and unwavering.
