70% hike after 3 offer shopping is too low

like

@Author true they are trying to brainwash that you'll only get 70% in 3 offers, whereas foe certain salaries you can get 100% hike on first offer itself.

This is awesome. Thank you so much for sharing.

Deciding between LEK and a much smaller firm doing mostly DoD consulting work. LEK offers $40k more (mostly in bonuses) than smaller firm, but smaller firm works less than 50 hrs/wk. Seems like both would be friendly workplaces. I'm having a hard time deciding. Any advice?

For folks exiting to FAANG / Product at start ups or really any hot company. How do you go about networking to get the interview? Do you apply then cold email someone you may have an “in”with, or are you picking say 10 companies and then having warm contacts there that you’ll ping when you see a job. I’ve been passively looking for jobs but zero luck, I only want to leave for the right fit. Big 4 here so feel my brand won’t auto get me an interview like mbb/t2

What is the best way to begin a transition from a help desk job to an actual career path in IT? I’m getting close to being at my current job for a year, however I have a lot of experience in the tech field, which is what landed me this job without any actual IT background. I definitely feel over qualified and under paid in the position I am in now, and looking for the next step towards an IT career. Any advice would not fall on deaf ears. TIA

Hi! Am in a series B tech startup, and have been with the company for 8 months, and I was headhunted from a competitor when I joined.

Was wondering what is the salary range for a customer success team lead? I’ve been told that I will be a team lead in the next 3 months, as they are looking to hire 3-5 more CSMs. But there was no mention of promotion or salary increment…

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

How some people are clearing interview and then getting into a project even though they don't have any skills, no desire to learn new things, can't perform a very very simple task even though it's already documented clearly, totally burden on team members. They don't even try to do basic troubleshooting when they faced simple issues, rather asks stupid question to junior who is having only 1 years of experience and ask for solution.
I noticed this in every project I joined(Service based company)
