I've been working in-house for health systems for about 5 years and previously worked agency-side for five years.

I don't like my current company, and I would like to switch in the next year.

Ideally, I would like to stay in the health care industry but not work for a hospital. I'd like to work remotely and ideally do something that's a little more strategy and data oriented.

Can somebody please explain how is the PIP process at Accenture ? Is it a termination or they would force a certain candidate to resign ? And will this "performance issue" mentioned on reliving letter or experience letter?

Does anyone pay to go to conferences on their own? My firm is being cheap and only willing to pay for one every other year. I’m being asked to speak at three this year and I know the firm won’t pay for travel that many times (probably $2k all in for each). It’s great for me professionally, so I think I should I should just bite the bullet and pay. There is another one that I want to attend for some additional exposure (and I want to speak there in the future). Another $4k in expenses.

Hey everyone, I’m currently an environmental engineer, but my first job was at Accenture for 3 years as a functional tester mostly. It’s been 4 years since I left Accenture and I’m looking to get back into the tech and/or consulting space, but not as a tester. What path would you all recommend where I can be hired above entry level without having directly relevant experience?

The disappointment of working on all female team and the sister is condescending and conniving AF. Ugh! Does anyone else feel embarrassed when another one of us acts a damn fool? I certainly do.

How do you deal with staff that don’t follow instructions? This is my 2nd project & I find that when I give specific instructions it’s not followed thoroughly or done sloppy. I’ve done walk-throughs, provided feedback etc. I’ve even pulled in management to deal with it. I’m starting to feel like they don’t respect me

My manager asked for access to my calendar. I just started on Monday and thought this was a weird request. I’ve never had anyone at any job ask me this before. I know it’s her right as a lead but it feels so damn invasive. When I asked her about it (very casually) she said, “you can ask for access to mine too, I don’t have anything to hide.”
