How can I get into an accounting firm without experience? I have a masters degree in accounting amd am currently studying for the CPA exam. I have a lot of experience but nothing in accounting.

Venting here but does anyone else feel like they can actively tell that people are treating them differently when they aren’t attractive? This morning I took an interview and I forgot to brush my hair and my skin was oilier than usual and it seemed like the interviewer, who I had met before, treated me completely differently. Then I had a second interview and the interviewer seemed uninterested, was not making eye contact, and actively tore down everything I said. This is so frustrating :(

I was placed on a PIP due to a project where the client didn’t like our work and from there I crushed the PIP and got off of it with no issues. Unfortunately, I was told my work was great and people gave great feedback but I still was placed on it anyway. I was terminated luckily with a 45 day severance package and honestly grateful to have finally been out of there and to a firm I like.

Are there any Workers Compensation MO Claims Adjuster here? I handle complex MO claims, which include review and authorization of surgeries. Basically, if the EE is not LT, the MO Adjuster manages the claims to closure. As an MO Adjuster, is that what you do? At what point do you transfer claims to LT Adjuster? What's your average monthly claim count? I'm trying to find out if my job duties and 10-hour shifts are in line with my salary. Or should I move on
