I am in a state where pretty much everything has been open and “normal” since May. I am only outdoor dining and only see a few friends, but most people here are pretty much back to “normal” life. I think some people that are in more locked down areas or that are 100% taking everything the CDC/Faucci says (both of which are pretty much recommending you should still be staying home as much as possible) as what is okay to do. As more people are getting vaccinated and things are starting to open up more, every person pretty much has to decide what is going to be normal for them and what they’re comfortable with. if you’re waiting for the CDC to tell you that you can do anything you want, you’re going to be waiting for a while. I think most things will be open in July. But Covid is still going to be here (hopefully seriously declined though) and there will still be people shaming people for traveling, seeing anyone outside of their household etc. it’s going to be up to you to decide what you feel comfortable with.
