Hello fishes, I joined Nagarro on 24th of August. But still no project is assigned yet. Basically I am on bench. Now I am about to get an offer from ServiceNow. I really wanna join ServiceNow as it's a big product based organisation and the competition is really high compared to Nagarro. ServiceNow is giving me a joining date of 1st October. As I am still on bench, will I get released by Nagarro soon ? Because no project is allocated to me.

Saved my client about 300k in penalties for missing foreign disclosures on their 1040. Their prior preparer had missed them for several years and we were able to get out of all of the penalties. I'm in tax obviously, you auditors are on your own on this one.
We train our teams to look for other service ops during audits, so we identify areas of improvement all the time. We educated a client on risk exposure that helped in their turnaround. On another, found fraud and worked with Board to address control problems. Helped a client implement new lease system in advance of standards change. Just a few examples...
Took three clients through IPO
Helped client understand that they are not ready to go public 😂😂😂
How did you help them implement a new lease system if you are the auditor. That isn’t independent.
Convinced the government not to prosecute them for bribery and corruption allegations
We identify material errors in the tax provision all the time. Could matter to someone
Providing independent assurance to stakeholders to maintain confidence in capital markets. This isn't meant to be a flashy career. If you wanted pomp and circumstance, you should have become an actuary.
Audit shit like a boss!!!!!
If you’re in audit your ‘client’ is the audit committee (at least for issuers). You provide value to them by giving them some assurance that things are being managed appropriately. We also bring SMRs to the audit committee meetings.
Not the answer you want, but audit adds value because it allows the company to exist (public for obvious reasons, private for loan convenants etc)
I should have clarified... Audit only
I add value every damn day when I walk in smiling and make them happy to see me
Eeh, I fucked them last time. Forced a client to amend there federal return due to a Foreign DCL issue when we audited there provision. Impact was about $80M extra in taxes to Uncle Sam
I'm NOT trying to add value to the client. I'm here to make sure shareholders don't get bent over and ENRON'd.
Clients pay enough people to add value. They hire us for an opinion and that's it. Don't drink that value add kool-aid
Tying tickets to change management. Greatest impact to fail a control.
Caught 10-k errors
Tax projection and compliance is a huge value add for every client I have. Audit was a joke and was hated by all my clients as well as myself LOL
In payroll testing I’ve found employees getting underpaid tens of thousands of dollars over the course of their time working at the client. Seeing them get that money directly is much more fulfilling than a company getting a break on taxes.
Found fraud then sold them forensics services to investigate the fraud.
