I am a part of wipro DOP (MDPS) as a senior associate since october 2020 and joined as a fresher back then. I am now being pushed to take up as a TL because of my performance and contribution to the project management. However i feel with just 2 years of experience if i take the position i might have to stay much longer in the company than i intend to as a minimum requirement for position of TL elsewhere is 4 years of experience as associate. After reading the discussions on this bowl for some time, there's something I want to share. There's a lot of criticism of Modi, Indian govt, Hindu Nationalism etc here. A lot of it is for good reason.

If like me you get defensive about these, tell yourself that (most) of it isnt anti-India, or hatred for India. It feels that way since our idea of India has become liked to 'Hindu'. Most are anti-Modi precisely because they love India. Just something that helps me think more rationally. Peace.

I've been in multiple sales roles over the past decade and am excited for my first official award of being a top performing sales rep in 2021 and winning an all-inclusive sales trip to enjoy with colleagues!!! I am a new sales rep for a machining company that primarily works in the aerospace industry. How do u get into the procurement and/or supply chain management groups to receive bid opportunities?

On a new team, internal move. Have about 10 YOE but looks like this will be the first year I end nowhere near annual goal. A few things outside of my control as I'm coming into the territory and things falling through. Role is heavy on renewals/farming but also some hunting. Because the farming has been so bad as I settle into month 4, will have a huge climb. The number of reps/meetings to get there is not attainable. Do I grind it past year 1? I hate that I will come nowhere close to goal...

Just started as an AE and I am responsible for the prospecting, running meetings, and closing the deal. Ive been doing like 50/calls per day with about 40 emails per day. I either keep getting rejection emails, VM’s or not interested over the phone. Can someone give me advice how to to get more people attend my initial meetings? Thats one of the big things I am measured on. Thanks!

tips on nailing a mock pitch presentation? to give some context: it is going to be a 10 min pitch with a 10 mins Q&A afterwards. i’ve written out a 1.5 pager sales script but don’t want to be reading it.

i think the idea of a 10 min long mock pitch has gotten me all anxious - or should it be more of an interactive pitch with questions asked to the panelists and the responding ?

Hi! Is it normal to feeling burn out after 10 months of working? I got a job as a sale coordinators which is a new position for a new department in my company. In this position, my boss expects me to be a sale rep, costumer support, and account management. With everything I have to be available at all time, meeting a potential costumer in the morning and taking order in the evening till midnight. All this for 48k, it’s my first salary job for me. Am I supposed to work this much?
