Has anyone worked or know someone that has worked as a project manager at TriNet? I just had a second interview for a position and would like to know more info about actually working as a project manager at that company. Compensation, average amount of projects worked at once, is it an enjoyable work environment? I was told for the position I applied for it would be 5-6 large projects at a time, is that common?
Hi fishes,
Is hike percentage depends on project review in first year of joining or is it default? I joined on Apr 2022 and got locked with a project in May and got released recently due to some performance issues as per project. I don't think they will give good reviews of mine and appraisal happens in Oct. Any suggestions please? Publicis Sapient

Put your phone on silent when you go to bed.
Do you bill him for the texts? If not, start. And speak to someone about a higher rate for off hours communication. If that doesn’t work, have a very frank conversation about how that isn’t appropriate. If that doesn’t work, dump the client.
Well, I would say do what I do and dont give out your cell phone number.
But since you've crossed the Rubicon...put the phone on silent and disable email notifications. And bill, bill, bill.
Different thought here: Of course we allow texts from our international or different time zone clients after hours! And if you won’t, we will! Get a different number or use a google number if it bothers you. In the era of social media, which is not going away, just charge ‘em, and keep moving. Most think you won’t answer until the next day, so they are not intentionally trying to disturb your sleep. They are just putting in comments when they think of them. Remember 8 months ago when no one wanted to do video depositions? Times have changed - don’t be the dinosaur!
I have wording in my retainer that charges extra for after hours texts or calls. Learned that one the hard way too.
Lawyers who give out their personal mobile number to clients completely mystify me. No paycheck amount justifies that.
As I used to tell my son when he was in high school, “nothing good happens after midnight.” This goes for issuing legal advice, too. Turn off the phone and go to sleep. Don’t respond first thing in the morning, either. You will create bad habits for yourself- and invite tests, emails, and phone calls from your client at all hours, 24/7. NOT WORTH IT.
Most of my clients text me, which I honestly prefer. I have my phone settings to not make noise unless someone calls or texts 3x in 5 minutes (because there are sometimes true emergencies on my caseload) and I let clients know that. Haven't had problems so far
Use Google Voice for texts. Silent notifications. Never give out your real number. And bill 0.1 for every text!
