I'm looking for a 3 day a wk (8, 10 or 12hr shift) in review, quality review, UR/UM, pre-auth, and/or appeals. I was under contract performing medical record reviews for Medicare & Medicaid claims. I also have experience in revenue cycle (billing, appeals, etc). Additionally, I ran a surgery center as an Administrator and have dabbled in all aspects of running the company. Does anyone know of any places hiring remote on a flex schedule? I work volunteering 2 days a week and need flexibility.

On a new project collaborating with some people in our Colombia office who (self-admittedly) have a beginner-mid level of English. All of our team comms (we’re leading) has been English. Is it okay for me to use some Spanish in meetings where it’s just me from my team and I can tell they might not be understanding completely or quickly?

I only have a beginner/mid lvl of Spanish so couldn’t do the full conversation in Spanish but could switch every now and then or would that be too confusing?

Deloitte GPS Business Analyst vs Mercer Health Consulting Analyst?

Deloitte's offer is 7K more and in a cheaper area. Equal interest in both jobs, slight preference for Mercer for people + culture. Leaning towards Mercer because I graduate in Dec and can start in Jan vs having to wait until next summer for Deloitte + location (although higher COL)

Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.

Motivation is key when it comes to bettering yourself, your team and your brand. Without self-motivation, you'll be less likely to inspire your team to work together to better your business. Like a muscle, self-motivation becomes stronger the more you use it. Mastering the art of self-motivation will take some time to become a habit. However, with daily practice, you'll not only better yourself and your business, you'll inspire your team to lead more meaningful personal and professional lives.

What are my fellow ADHDers thoughts on a couple things…do you feel ADHD is over diagnosed? Do you get irked when others say they must have ADHD when they just can’t focus and have no idea how ADHD actually presents for us? For context I got diagnosed as an adult (female at 30). I should have been diagnosed years ago. The meds have made a huge difference but I still feel at times maybe we over diagnosis this thing or give the meds out a little too easy to people “who just can’t focus”.

Just graduated law school with honors but don’t have a job lined up. I’m thinking about just going solo and starting my own firm after taking the bar in Sept. Finances are not a problem. Planning to practice IP transactions/prosecution/litigation. I have work exp/clerk/extern but no associate exp. This climate is crazy and I think I can grab a lot of smaller work myself through my own networks and be my own boss. Also currently grabbing an mba part time. Thoughts? Advice?

I’ve now reached the point in my career where I have the experience, a good client base, and consistent referral sources that I’m ready to leave the small firm I’m with and start my own practice. My preference would be to find a partner and form a partnership because I’d like to have someone to bounce ideas off of and for some social interaction, but if I can’t find the right partner, then I’ll do it alone. Any advice on branching off to start my own firm - whether it be solo or with a partner?

Any of you manage WFH / telecommute more than 50% of the time? When I was an associate, you hardly saw the principal/owner. Now that I’m 7 months into partnership, I just started a set up for WFH myself. It’s basic right now, but once fully set up, I don’t see a need to go to the office other than client meetings. But in my area of law (domestic relations/family), even in a pandemic, people love to just stop by. So that’s one of my concerns if I transition to WFH.
