We have a project that would generate social impact, and our short term goal is propose it to ASHOKA to help us develop it. Before that we would like to assemble a team that will be part of “the board” with all the resource we are needing and most importantly people that “empathically share our preoccupation for the immigrants”. I am on an internal IT audit project. The manager in charge and the director have no IT OR Audit experience. I’ve done both internal and external audits. They both said not to rely on audit standards when discussing gaps with the client. How do you do this? Serious question

When building the TCO and comparing on-prem vs cloud costs, do you generally use AWS Migration evaluator/TSO Logic or a similar tool? Or does the client provide you the info in an excel or a CMDB?

What’s the best way to tell your MDs or other seniors to do work? I’m not even junior but I feel like my seniors only ever show up on this project to yell at us if we’ve messed something up.
At my previous banks, my seniors always stuck up for us and were there to focus and assist when we needed but my new bank… so frustrating.

Strategy Q: We have a strategic strong hold in a specific region that is quite demanding, unappreciative and difficult as a customer. Their requests often take the product on a tangent as they have very niche use cases, and this uses up (some) Engg bandwidth from other key areas needed to grow the market both locally and in other locals.
Leadership wants to keep the client so they agree to all their demands.
How common is this? Is this strategy okay or are there pitfalls we aren't seeing?

Currently a JR PM at an ad agency in NYC. Working on social media for my client. Really don't enjoy it. Previous experience is in experiential marketing and really loved that because I knew humans would interact, touch, and feel the things I helped create.
