What would you do? I was recently reached out to by an exec I worked for at another agency. He’s at a new agency and looking for an EA to assist him, the new president and another exec. However the agency itself is not doing well- no new biz wins, big layoffs recently, terrible reviews on Glassdoor. I like my current agency enough, however, very much don’t like the 2 execs I assist. Would you go rather work for good execs at a bad agency? Or stay at a decent agency but awful execs?

I was affected by layoffs about a month ago and urgently looking for a good immigration lawyer. The lawyer should be experienced in handling this 60 day grace period situation and developing alternate strategies - such as change of status to B1/B2 or applying to jobs from India. After 6 yrs of PM/PO out of college working for Cigna, I was informed my position is being eliminated due to “staff reductions to combat with rising costs of healthcare.” I was offered severance & I’ve got several positions in the works with the same company thankfully. Any female led/ female founded tech companies in Austin hiring? ISO a role in sales engineering or as a CSM! 3 YOE in startups that have all been successful, but was unfortunately laid off with the rest of my team. I have a contract for right now but want a new company to call home for the long term!

I was fired for missing deadlines for 1. A response to a motion that hadn’t been filed (still hasn’t) 2. Writing a difficult petition in 24 hours after another associate took 6 days to submit a blank form. Both times deadline was missed by less than 2 hours, while hospitalized (I have a disability). He knew of the hospitalization and said “he didn’t care about the reason I needed more time.” He came to my hospital room to get the company computer and no other attorney was fired. Is this fair?

Feeling so down right now…I spent months trying to get into a tech company. And when I finally got in, I was then laid off two months into the job. This past month, I applied to 300+ jobs and had 30+ interviews. None of them led to offers due to hiring freezes or internal hires. I just went through 10 interviews with a non-tech company and I don’t know if I will get an offer. I am just so tired of everything. My mom recently got shingles (called herpes in India). It's associated with really bad nerve pain. Shingles vaccine is available & recommended in the US for people above 55. We just found out that vaccine is not available in India & doctors are unaware of it's existence.
