We just found out we’re pregnant with twins! Definitely a shock, but we are excited. Anyone here have twins and/or willing to share tips? I’m only 9 weeks so still have a long ways to go. Thankfully my firm has a generous maternity leave policy. Obviously I have not broken the news to my firm yet; however, I’m already experiencing guilt for highly litigated matters that I’m on and know when my leave would start is a few months out from trial - anyone else feel this work guilt?

I have two kids and expecting my third - a 10 year old and a 5 year old. We live in NJ and work in NYC. We currently dont have a 529 plan for our kids; also not sure whether 529 is a good option for college education savings considering NJ doesn’t get a deduction for it; what other options are out there for college savings funds. My hubby wants to save 50k each for our older two kids in next two years but we are completely clueless where to put this money for a good return and get tax benefits.

Planning a trip to Rome and Naples with day trips to Tivoli and Pompeii. Is 1 week enough? I feel like reading through 3/4 day Rome and 2 day Naples itineraries, the trip seems rushed. I have unlimited PTO but my SO is limited in time (but luckily he can work extra hrs and then use less PTO). I would say max we could do is 1.5 weeks but adding on 3-5 more days seems almost too much? Thoughts? Struggling so much with nausea that i don't know how do i focus on work. I had to an off from work yeaterday. Wonder how many days can i keep taking unplanned leaves like this. My supervisor is aware of the situation, but the client isnt. Its also leaving a bad impression with 3-4 unplanned leaves a month .
Its getting impossible and i have just completed 3 months.

I got one of those Doppler things and now I’m all freaked out because I used it once and it was great heard the heartbeat and it was amazing. A week goes by and I tried for a second time today and can’t for the life of me find this little guy and now I’m all paranoid. I used the Doppler for 20 minutes total this evening - approx. 5-7 minutes each time trying to find him. I also just learned that using Dopplers longer than a few minutes or often can be bad for baby so stopped- very concerned 😔

My firm does a firm wide attorney retreat/meeting this summer. I’ll be about 25 weeks pregnant and I have to fly there with my local team/office. I’m very, very nervous about getting COVID while pregnant and I work with people who are generally lax around Covid to begin with. What would you do? Context: pretty much 100% attendance at the meeting. I’m nervous about flying AND the meeting itself.

So I’m 32 weeks. I’m finding it very difficult to breathe and it’s hard to explain. I have normal pregnancy congestion especially at night but throughout the whole day too when I breathe (not congested or through my mouth) it feels like my lungs don’t take in enough oxygen and I don’t feel like I’ve actually taken a breathe, if that makes any sense at all. I’ve also been choking a lot recently not sure if related. Anyone else or am I just weird?
