Getting married in the Caribbean end of February. Going absolutely nuts with the range of my RSVP emails. Young people “can’t wait, so excited!!!!”, old people “too afraid to travel”. If it were in January I’d prob postpone, but I kinda feel like end of Feb might be ok? And who’s to say if I move it there won’t be another variant. FWIW planning to require rapid tests, the country requires vaccines everywhere, etc but people are either v comfortable or not at all. 😑 no q, just commiserating

This may be a silly question but do you have the entire bridal party arrive at the start of hair / make up or just by the time that they’re scheduled to go? I keep moving prospective venues to my “over budget” list after exchanging several emails with the event coordinator. I’ve now moved 10 venues to that list (venues that I found by googling “inexpensive Chicago venues.” I’m feeling hopeless. I have a 50k budget, so 20k for venue/food/beverage (I’m in Chicago). I have a grandparent who is a toxic narcissist. He is my only living grandparent. I will be inviting all aunts and uncles to our wedding. However, after watching my grandparent make my sister's wedding completely about him and try to get involved, although my sister did not want that, I do not want to invite him. Any advice?
