How long do you cry after breakup? I cried for one night, and felt weird day after. Now I feel like I am way better, maybe it was because I know it had to happen (even if I was the one who got broken up with) and probably I see that more than hurt of relationship ending

Why do we always tell people “Be the best version of yourself before starting a relationship?”
I feel this is wrong…first, if you’re someone who constantly wants to be better, this doesn’t work. Also, what happens when you’re going through things and you’re not the best version? What happens is…the going gets tough and then one person leaves the other.

I made a mistake. I talked with the ex this morning. He said he misses me. And that while he walk talking to the other woman, he wished he was talking to me instead. And when he saw that I didn’t respond to his texts, he drank a shit ton. And then called this morning.

He’s not willing to commit to the other women because he’s not over me.

Traveled for the first time this week since COVID and got the dreaded “do you have kids?” question at team dinner. Him-“do you have kids?” Me- “No, I don’t.” Him-“Oh good! That’s the right choice!!” Me (awkwardly)- “I still have time… I’m not even 30 yet!” (Team member who knows about our 3 month and 6 month miscarriages looking on with THE saddest face) Ughhhh. Did my first egg retrieval today. In so much pain. Feeling discouraged because they counted 30 eggs during monitoring but only retrieved 13. Really sad and disappointed. I've already had 6 failed IUI's.

Insurance companies are now allowing embryo banking. This happened to me and also another friend who works at a different company where we decided to go through with another IVF cycle before attempting a transfer (because an optimal number of embryos was not achieved) and insurance approved them. Hallelujah!

HSG pain level vs. endometrial biopsy? I have an HSG this week and did biopsy last week. Biopsy was brutal! I overheard a nurse telling someone else that HSG is actually more painful but I can’t even imagine… really nervous now.
