We received our first newsletter from our principal this morning (we go back today). I had to share a little of what he wrote to us. It made me cry but also made me feel a lot better:
“I wish I had the specific answer to those questions, but while I don't have specific answers, I do know what I control; I am in control of myself—my attitude, how I respond to change and adversity, and how I talk to and act toward others. That is all you can do, too. And, you know what? That will be enough.”

We go back on the 11 th of this month. We have 8 days before students arrive. They have 3 choices. Physical classroom, online through the school, our homeschool program. Praying for students and parents to choose the physical classroom.
I love what was written. Please everyone keep safe and healthy.

I remember when I first started working on my thesis project. My adviser asked me to get some funding for it, but he didn't give me any advice about how to do that. He just told me that if I wanted money for my project, I'd have to go through some kind of committee process and submit an application for funding from them. Sure enough, after weeks of writing applications and waiting around for responses from the committee members (who were always too busy), I eventually got approved for funding!

McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Hiiii! I’ve been at my job for a year and a couple of months now & I’ve gotten rather bored because the work is repetitive, not challenging, and hasn’t really allowed me to learn or grow as much as I would’ve liked to. Given how I’m still paying a ton of money for my postgrad in Business Comms (that I haven’t really gotten the chance to use), I’ve been thinking of entering the world of consulting. Any word of advice? PwC McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group KPMG

Good evening everyone,

I have to rant and seek advice. It’s my 5th year teaching overall. I’m a 1st year at a new district it’s been really nice except for just some very small inconveniences: no classroom budget, too many meetings during planning time, printers are so bad that I had to bring mine from home, my district gives teachers chromebooks for laptops. I’m a a point where if I was invited to come back next year I’d say tell them no, am I crazy, is it just me? Please help
