We recently had an employee join in October and since then he hasn’t been able to produce at pace. He takes weeks and weeks to produce something that would take me one week therefore I’m left doing majority of the work while he struggles and takes his sweet time and he has 3 years of experience on me! I still feel this way after last week being asked my three different people about doing something where I told them that I was not going to do. following day I was then ambushed by admin (where I have never felt more like nothing. My boss the general manager is setting me up at work. She is saying all this stuff about me that is not true at all. But when I come into her shift or come into my shift after hers nothing is done for me. A lot of the prep is not done. And she complains about me not doing the prep. Stuff Is still dirty. Had my interview this past Monday.

My recruiter meets every Thursday to get feedback from the interviewer, so I’m not expecting to hear back until next Friday.

I get an email today, from a Googler, an invite to apply for a position. I did not accept or decline yet and I don’t have any details. I did look up the person who sent me the invite, the person is a regional lead.

Any ideas what this could be? I’m a bit nervous and don’t know if I should reach out to my recruiter to ask her?

Do you have small talks with your manager and directs? Feel like an as*hole for not liking it. My boss likes to start our 1 on 1s with topics around family, trip plans, hobbies, and other small talks. I don’t care how his weekend was. Or his baby. And personally I don’t like sharing much about my family or personal life so the small talks thing is very annoying to me.
