What are you getting out of Barclays that WF doesn’t offer?

Im using the no penalty cd’s from marcus

Interesting how the 13 month CD is lower. I feel like for that amount of time, I could ride out a stock market fluctuation and come out on top

Wherever you go next week will do the same thing in 2 weeks. Unless you can find some bonus elsewhere, I’d say just hold.

I’m barely beating inflation at this rate, if at all. I think I should put a majority of what I had in my high yield savings into the Market and see how that goes. My money’s been getting an average of 7% there lately

Wanted to get some opinions here. I’m an M2 in Cyber looking to eventually make a move to big tech or an SM or Dir at a big industry client. Have an offer of 190K base with 20% bonus to be a Mgr at Accenture. Reason to leave - want more technical exp before moving to Big tech and better comp. although PwC increased salary this year, it’s not in the same ball park at this point. Don’t see myself staying to make partner/MD at either firm. Welcome all suggestions on what I should do.

Just had someone reach out offering cash for a rental house I own. It’s currently rented for next 22 months. How would you value this as a seller? Straight Zillow with a kicker for rental value add? For shits and giggles. Zillow says 150k. Rental is 1200 per month. House has appreciated about 7 percent per year over last 2.5 years in OKC. Thanks in advance

How do people save for a down payment on a house? My SO and I make a combined 130k salary, currently rent a 1br apt for $2250/mo, have other debts of 600/mo and 15k in savings. Neither of us have been able to save much since we started to rent the apt (6 months ago). I want to stop "wasting" money on rent and build equity in a home, lay down roots, start a family, but I feel I/we will never be able to save enough for a down payment (NY prices, 400-500k).
