Wearing black is not just a color, it is a passion. Powerful, mysterious and always stylish. As someone who is fascinated by black clothes, I am always impressed by the elegance and power of black. Do you like wearing black too? Share your thoughts about the appeal of black! 🖤 #BlackOutfits #Elegance #Mysterious

I do enjoy wearing black, it is easy to pair with other colors. But I don't wear it all the time or just all black all the time.

I enjoy wearing black because it is so easy.

Do I have to have a maid of honor? I’m Indian so it’s not really a key part of the wedding, but rather something fun to have. I have a younger sister and two best friends and I don’t want to have to choose between the two…can they just be bridesmaids? And if I do have a bach party (tbd on that too) they can just plan it together?

Just received an in house offer for a financial company. Been in house at a different company for a couple years, however, the offer is 40% more then what I make now and hybrid (2days a week in office). Just hesitant to accept as I’m comfortable where I’m at but this is a $60k increase in pay. Hours seem to be 9-5:30/6, no weekends. Should I leverage the offer with my current company? I did that last year with another offer and they did match. I don’t. Think they will match but somewhat close.

SO beyond frustrated with my work environment I think it may be time to leave for good. I returned from maternity leave after 4 years of working at my very old-school, boys club, nepotism-friendly company. The number of remarks I got on my appearance, my pregnancy and etc was a little annoying before I left, but since I've come back it's been nothing but comments on how they can't believe I'm leaving my husband home with the baby etc. Sorry for the long post just needed to vent!!

Introduce yourself here! Where you’re from, and what you do for work.

If you work somewhere that you would say actually has a positive/inclusive/safe culture for women especially: what are the specific things or people that make it that way? If not - why not?

Hi all! I’m an engineer working in the global health space and I’m finding it’s a small, small pool. I also just found out that a new hire (male, also an engineer) is the reason I got a raise after ~5 years of stagnancy. I love my job, but it’s time to move on. Anyone who’s worked in nonprofit spaces - did you stay? Did you switch to consulting/government/etc or go corporate? I’ve been applying without much response, and I’m debating whether a PMP very or masters is going to be necessary.

What, if anything, can be done to increase and encourage female representation in hired STEM positions? For example, should female and other minority employees have input on your companies yearly class of interns or new hires? Do you think women are underrepresented in STEM because of societal standards or because we have to fight harder to get hired? Having a bit of a debate with a coworker over solutions.

As proud as my family is of my career and accomplishments, I think my mother would honestly be happier or just as happy if I had no degree, a husband, and several children (I'm 29). She doesn't expressly say it but the "don't you get lonely?" comments speak for themselves.

For CRAs (or any traveling position) out there, is it possible to be a new mom and CRA in the same time?

I’m getting a new boss and I get to interview them. What kind of questions should I prioritize?
